Suklu (b.1967) is a respected contemporary painter and a scholar actively engaged in building art community in Klungkung area and wider Bali. His works channels a strong sense of mysticism coming from the interactions of human, gods and nature. All his works have a certain je ne sais quoi, a modern ode to Balinese heritage and spirituality. Suklu hold a post-graduate degree in fine art and have received many prestigious art awards such as Philip Morris Asian Art. His works were exhibited at Jakarta National Gallery, KL National Gallery, Cullity Gallery Perth, and Marriott Hong Kong - to name a few.
