Gusti Kade, born in 2000, in Jembrana, is a young Balinese artist whose creative explorations extend beyond painting to include three-dimensional materials. He pursued his fine art education at the Indonesia Institute of Art Denpasar from 2018 to 2022. His artworks are a reflection of his personal expression rooted in the traditional embroidery art of his village in Jembrana regency. While Gusti's embroidery art may not adhere strictly to tradition, it retains its traditional essence. Through meticulous technique and a lengthy process, Gusti Kade draws inspiration from his village's traditional art, infusing it with his own memories of a warm family atmosphere from his childhood home. These elements are woven into his art, conveying messages and interpretations that resonate with viewers, inviting them to share in his experiences and emotions.
